Description
I visited an old cold war bunker in Denmark called Stevns Fortet, detailed in the journal entry linked further down.
The fort was placed 20 meters below ground, and consisted of 1.6 km of tunnels that are cut directly into the limestone. The green on the walls are algae growing directly on the limestone walls, that are not covered in concrete. The limestone contains layers of flint, and is so strong that no extra support is needed.
